As a service facility, the administrative units assist the scientific units of the DPZ with their research activities, this includes purchasing, finance and human resource management.

While the Accounting Unit is responsible for all aspects of financial controlling and transactions, the Purchasing Unit processes all procurements. The Human Resources Management is in charge of issues concerning personnel management.
