Search symposium at the DPZ

A new junior research group will be established at the German Primate Center in 2015.

On Wednesday, December 10 2014, a search symposium for the position of a junior research group leader will take place at the German Primate Center (DPZ).

Four candidates from Germany, Switzerland and the USA will present their research projects in the form of lectures and discussions. The emphasis of the topics will be on infection research and ethology. All applicants are post-doctoral scientists with primate research experience.

The new research group will conduct independent research on and with primates and complement the scientific spectrum of the Institute in cooperation with existing departments and research groups. In cooperation with the University of Göttingen, the new research group is also involved in the continuous advancement of young scientists.

The symposium will take place from 9 a.m. to 3p.m. in the lecture hall of the German Primate Center, Kellnerweg 4 in Göttingen. You are cordially invited to attend the search symposium. All lectures will be held in English.
