The German Primate Center currently is one of 88 research and infrastructural institutions of the Leibniz Community. About 400 employees work and research in Göttingen and at three field stations in the areas of Infection Research, Neurosciences and Primate Biology.
If you would like to learn more about us, we look forward to seeing you on a guided tour or at one of our events.
From Monday to Friday we offer guided tours for school classes (from the 10th grade on) and other groups of at least 10 persons (minimum age: 15 years). We usually start a tour by giving a short introduction into our research areas and then visit the primate housings. If you are interested in a talk on a specific topic from the fields of Infectious Diseases, Stem Cell Research, Genetics, or Brain Sciences, please do not hesitate to contact Heike Klensang.
Magazine "DPZ aktuell"
Here you can find more information on our magazine "DPZ aktuell", which reports research highlights, portraits of employees or news from our field stations. The magazine is partly translated to English and can be subscribed for free!
