The 10th Primate Neurobiology Meeting was held at the German Primate Center from March 6th to 8th, 2017. Over three days, 122 participants from Europe, Canada, and the USA discussed topics concerning neuroscientific work with primates. The latest research results from fields such as brain-machine-interface and visual perception were discussed through presentations and posters. In addition to neuroscientific content, topics such as Animal Welfare or socio-political aspects of primate research were discussed. The themes of the presented topics were introduced through the three keynote lectures by Eberhard Fetz (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, US), Pieter Roelfsema (Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience, Amsterdam, The Netherlands) and Mark Buckley (University of Oxford, Oxford, UK).

A workshop for technicians, animal keepers and trainers took place parallel to the conference. This year, the focus revolved around the husbandry of rhesus macaques and marmosets and the practical aspects of imaging techniques. The Conference was complemented by social events and a tour of the DPZ.
