Lauren Cassidy completed her masters in "Primate Biology, Behaviour and Conservation" at the University of Roehampton in London, UK. Her thesis compared behavioral and physiological indices of stress in female rhesus macaques between two pair-housing methods. She is interested in maximizing primate welfare in research through multidisciplinary methods. In the Cognitive Neuroscience Lab and Welfare and Cognition Group she will develop a welfare assessment scheme for her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Dana Pfefferle.
