LOCATION

The Primate Neurobiology Conference takes place in the lecture hall of the German Primate Center which is located in the north of Göttingen, at Kellnerweg 4, 37077 Göttingen.

How to reach us:

By train and public or private transportation in Göttingen: 

With the ICE (high speed train) towards Kassel or Hannover to Göttingen. From the train station, take a taxi to the institute (approx. 10 minutes), e-scooter (approx. 16 minutes and 4€ to travel the 4.2 km).  Alternatively, take the bus 21 or 23 from bus platform D to the stop „Kellnerweg“. Cross the road, go in the direction of the bus. At the mailbox, turn left onto the footpath and proceed to the end. Turn right onto the Kellnerweg. The main entrance of the DPZ is on the left side. 

By car: 

Leave the Autobahn A7 at exit "Göttingen Nord". Follow the B27 straight ahead in the direction of "Braunlage". Turn right towards "Kliniken" after the third traffic light intersection. Afterwards turn left onto "Robert-Koch-Straße" direction "Universität Nordbereich/Polizei". At the end of "Robert-Koch-Straße" turn right onto "Otto-Hahn-Straße", direction "Nikolausberg". The first street on your left is "Kellnerweg", follow the signs "Deutsches Primatenzentrum". 

By plane: 

Frankfurt Airport:

There are two separate train stations at Frankfurt airport, one for regional trains and the other for long-distance trains. Direct trains to Göttingen (towards either Hamburg or Berlin) depart from the long-distance station every two to four hours. Trains to Frankfurt's main train station (Hauptbahnhof) depart frequently from the airport's regional station. From here, two trains per hour depart for Göttingen, with the ICE (high speed train) from Frankfurt takling approximately 2 hours to reach Göttingen. By car, the trip from the airport takes about three hours. 

Hannover Airport:

From the airport, the S-Bahn (suburban train) departs every 30 minutes for Hannover's main train station. From there, ICEs and regional trains depart several times an hour for Göttingen. Travel time with the ICE is approx. 30 minutes, and the last train departs at 9 pm.
