Discussion with Stefan Treue

Stefan Treue, director of the DPZ, will take part in a public discussion of animal models in research in Tübingen on June 24th.

Stefan Treue, director of the German Primate Center and neuroscientist, will participate in a public discussion about animal models in research organized by the Werner Reichardt Center for Integrative Neuroscience (CIN) of the University of Tübingen on June, 24th at 17 h. Amongst the other participants will be Dr. Jörg Luft from Covance, who will explain the industry’s point of view and Dr. Cornelie Jäger, the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg’s agent for animal welfare.

At the event for journalists and the public the need for animal models in research will be discussed from different perspectives. A special focus will be on the point of view of patients who are often forgotten in theoretical debates on animal-based research.

The discussion will take place in lecture hall B04-210 at the University Children's Hospital in Tübingen.
