Andrea Marzi receives Loeffler-Frosch-Award

Dr. Andrea Marzi received the Loeffler-Frosch-Award of the German Society of Virology for her excellent work on the Ebola virus. Her research contributed significantly to the development of a vaccine and her results have been published in leading international journals, including Science. Dr. Marzi performed her PhD thesis in the Infection Biology Unit (at that time located at the Institute of Virology in Erlangen) and is now working as an associate scientist at the National Institutes of Health, Rocky Mountain Laboratories, USA.
