Within his lab rotation, Carlos Alberto Vanegas (Msc. Molecular Biology) will work on establishing a cosmid-based system for production of a primate herpesvirus, Macacine alphaherpesvirus 1. In addition, he will analyze parameters of genetic stability of influenza A viruses carrying reporter genes.
