Marie Wende analyses herpesviruses harboring reporter genes
Marie Wende, a Biology master student, joined us for a lab rotation. She will be using variants of the primate herpesvirus SA8 to investigate which cells are susceptible to infection and to determine whether infection can be inhibited by antivirals and interferon induced genes.
