Promovierter Wissenschaftler Kognitive Neurowissenschaften

Forschung

Cognitive Neuroscience, Cognitive Welfare, Machine Learning

Aufgabenbereich

Senior Software Engineer, Machine Vision for Primates

Kurzprofil

Since 2020: Senior Engineer and Scientist at the German Primate Center in Göttingen for:

- machine learning approaches for tracking animal behavior;

- gamify psychophysics tasks for humans;

- adaptive cognitive training and enrichment systems for non-human primates.

Previously, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Auditory Neuroscience, University Medical Center Göttingen (2016 - 2019), leading projects on autonomous psychophysics, developing cage-based audiology setups for common marmosets, and designing wireless optogenetic devices.

Dr. rer. nat. Systems Neuroscience in 2016 from the Göttingen Graduate Center for Neurosciences, Biophysics, and Molecular Biosciences (GGNB) at Georg August University Göttingen: neural basis of disparity and motion perception, microsaccadic eye movements, and autinomous training devices.

Service

Deigninging, development, and optimization of autonomous devices, softwares, and data pipelines for cognitive enrichment, neuroscience, and machine learning animal tracking and behavioral characterization.

Tutor for High Vision and Attention, MSc/PhD Neurosciences Program from 2018 to 2023
