Lab visit from Granada/Spain

On the 30th of July 2013 a group of 20 students from Granada/Spain visited the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory accompanied by Dr. Michael Ferber (XLAB). The medical and pharmacology students were undergoing a three-week practical course at the XLAB and as part of the practical they paid a visit to the DPZ.

Valeska Stephan and Michael Berger, two scientists at the CNL, guided the two hour-long group visit. After a brief guided tour through the DPZ, the students visited the premises of the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory. Here they got the chance to see how scientists work in the laboratory and learned about the different working groups and experimental techniques which are used in the CNL.

The XLAB is celebrating its 25th birthday this year. It offers practical courses for national and international student and school groups to gain insights into different fields of life sciences.
