Welcome to the German Primate Center
The German Primate Center is one of currently 97 research and infrastructural institutions of the Leibniz Community. More than 400 employees work and research in Göttingen and at four field stations abroad in the areas of Infection Research, Neurosciences and Primate Biology.

Guided Tours
We regularly offer guided tours that usually start with a talk about our research areas followed by a visit to the outdoor facilities of our primate husbandry.
