The DPZ in Peru - General Information
The Estación Biológica Quebrada Blanco (EBQB) is a small research station in the Amazonian rainforest in northeast Peru.
It was founded in 1984 by the Peruvian biologist Rogerio Castro and since 1985 it is used by our working group for ecological and ethological investigations on New World primates.
Research Objectives
Basic ecological and ethological research on sympatric New World primates, particularly tamarins (Saguinus mystax und Saguinus fuscicollis) that live in interspecific associations.
