Dr. Simon Jacob has recieved the DPZ-award 2013 of the institute’s promotion association. The neurologist was handed the prize and the certificate on May 5th in the Primate Center’s lecture hall.

Eckhard W. Heymann of the German Primate Center (DPZ) and Shin Shin Hsia von Earth Corps have found by reviewing literature, that various vertebrate species intermittently associate with primates to profit from the primates' behavior.

Julia Fischer, head of the Cognitive Ethology Lab at the DPZ and professor at the University of Göttingen is now a full member of the Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Göttingen.
