On June 6, a public presentation of all the active conservation and research organisers in the region was held in Morondava.  This was a celebration of the Journée Mondial de l'Environnement (world environment day). The visitors, particularly hundreds of schoolchildren had the opportunity to choose the best stand. Of the 26 participating stands, that of the DPZ had the most votes. A huge thank you goes out to our local colleague, Mbininintsoanaly Chantal Faramalala.

Fara originally comes from Antsirabe (Madagascar) and is an administrative assistant and contact person in our office in Morondava.
